Campus venues offer a variety of entertainment ranging from
concerts and plays to lectures and exhibitions.
Morrison Center
The Morrison Center for the Performing Arts provides an
impressive setting for spectacular entertainment. With its 2,000-
seat main hall and intimate 200-seat recital hall, the center is
considered one of the finest performing arts halls in the country.
Entertainment greats such as B.B. King, David Copperfield,
Garrison Keillor, Bill Cosby, Gordon Lightfoot, Jerry Seinfeld, Bonnie
Raitt and Sarah Vaughan, to name just a few, have performed
in the Morrison Center. The center also hosts world-class stage
performances, including “Miss Saigon,” “Rent” and “Stomp.”
Opened in 1984, the Morrison Center hosts such local arts groups
as the Boise Philharmonic, Ballet Idaho, Trey McIntyre Project,
the Master Chorale, and Boise State’s Music and Theatre Arts
departments.
