At the Student Union Building, you can grab lunch at
the Boise River Café, bowl or shoot pool, browse the
Bronco Shop or check your social networks. The SUB also
houses a video arcade and Select-a-Seat ticket outlet,
and provides a venue for concerts and other community
events.
With more than a dozen conference and meeting
rooms, the SUB hosts hundreds of lectures, meetings,
conferences, workshops, art exhibits, comedy shows and
other events each year. The largest conference room is the
Grace Jordan Grand Ballroom, which can seat 1,000 people.
The final phase of a major renovation and expansion of
the most frequented building on campus was dedicated in
August 2009. The cutting-edge gathering place now has
67,000 new square feet and is a prominent display of
Boise State’s metropolitan character.
